Tonight I, Alice got a knock on her door and there were recognizable faces but I couldn’t remember where I knew them from. Back in 2009 and 2010 this missionary family came by and got about 8 bikes. They loaded them onto a vehicle headed for Mexico. One of their ministries is camp work and one of the program options is bicycling. Every year students have the privilege of using bikes at camp thanks to His Wheels International.
What an amazing knock at the door to answer tonight. Camp ministry work is near and dear to my heart. I worked at several camps as a young adult and even thought I wanted to do camp work full-time. I was never able to fulfill that dream but what a dream beyond my wildest imagination to have His Wheels bicycles in a camp in Mexico.
They ended our visit in prayer by thanking God for HWI and praying for the ongoing ministry here. I feel blessed beyond words.
