From our Board President

After much prayer and careful vetting, the His Wheels board has voted to outsource the financial aspects of our ministry to Faith & Learning International (FLI), maintaining our 501 C-3 status. Through FLI, we receive the ECFA Accreditation , which provides standards for financial accountability guaranteeing that HWI record keeping is compliant with the ever changing IRS Not-For-Profit financial laws. FLI will take care of Audited Financial Reports, Bookkeeping & CPA Services, Bill Pay, Tax Deductible Donor Receipts, and donor support.
The board has also approved a $500/month contract worker stipend for Alice Teisan, made possible by outsourcing our finances to FLI. The service will cost us seven percent of all donations written to FLI. If you choose to use a credit card to donate then there is the additional three percent, credit card processing cost.
What does that mean for our donors?
• Checks need to be written out to Faith & Learning, with His Wheels in the memo.

• You can visit our website and click on the donate button in the upper right hand corner to give via electronic giving—either by credit card or setting up a direct deposit for ongoing giving.
• Your donation receipt will read Faith & Learning International, and will be sent from their address.
The financial and bookkeeping changes that His Wheels International is making, which we feel are for the better, do not affect our purpose, day to day operations, governing structure, or our donors.
