Last week Kevin, our engineer and Alice went on a three College/University tour. On Monday, Oct. 14th we met with Spring Arbor University (SAU) Faculty in Michigan. We were joined by a business school professor from Immanuel University’s (Hyderabad, India) new master’s in business program.
Then on Oct. 15th we traveled on to Anderson University (AU) located in Anderson, Indiana. There we met with the new engineering program’s faculty and the 17 freshman engineering students.
We returned to Wheaton on Tuesday evening and on Thursday afternoon we received a call from a Wheaton College (WC), Illinois, engineering club member who wanted to set up a time for us to meet with their club. Since WC is less than 1/2 mile from Alice’s home we were able to be spontaneous. We met with 10 members of their club that evening.
The students and faculty at each of these schools is interested in seeing how we can partner together. Through HWI trike we offer a culture of innovation where we are mining creativity on the College and University Campuses.
