It is hard to believe that in May 2014 His Wheels will enter its 10th year of ministry.
The New Year has just begun but already today many exciting new opportunities are beginning to percolate.
1. After our last newsletter one of our readers suggested a possible engineering program nearby that we should look into to see if they were interested in our University Trike Consortium. One thing we’ve never done much of is cold calling. Instead we’ve networked while praying and watching God pull things together in His way. Today we were able to make a networking connection with someone who may help us link into yet another university program.
2. Coming soon we will be uploading a new 5 minute video put together by our friends at Wandering Wheels. The video shows how to assemble one of our His Wheels Trike Kits without words so it can be used wherever our trikes go.
2. Our friends at Wandering Wheels (WW) are applying their bicycle mechanics expertise and looking at changes that could improve our trike design. In early December when we met with Taylor Universities (TU) Engineering Faculty we left a trike for WW and TU to share.
Now we would like to get some more trike parts to WW. We are wondering if anyone from the Wheaton, IL area is headed to Taylor University in Upland, IN in the next few weeks? Or is there a parent driving students back to Wheaton College from Upland, IN? If you would be willing to transport some trike parts for us to Upland, IN let us know. Thanks.
